Exclusive: Celine Dion Opens Up About Singing New Song for 'Beauty and the Beast' 26 Years After the Original

Celine Dion says it's a "privilege" to sing a new song for Disney's upcoming live-action Beauty and the Beast.

Nearly 30 years after the movie's 1991 release -- and Dion's iconic duet with Peabo Bryson -- the singer opened up to Et's Cameron Mathison about falling "in love" with the animated film, and how her late husband, Rene Angelil, convinced her to sing a new song -- titled "How Does a Moment Last Forever" -- for the new movie.

"30 year later, they [came] back to me," Dion told Et while promoting "The Celine Dion Collection" of handbags, luggage and accessories with the Bugatti Group, which was unveiled at Project Women in Las Vegas on Tuesday, and will be available at select retailers across the globe in September.

Leah Adler, Mother of Steven Spielberg, Dies at 97

Leah Adler, the mother of Steven Spielberg who fostered his interest in filmmaking, died Tuesday. She was 97.

Adler, a former concert pianist, died in Los Angeles, according to a spokesperson for Spielberg's production company, Amblin Entertainment.

Raised during the Roaring Twenties and the Depression with her older brother Bernard, Adler developed a love of music when she learned piano at the age of 5. She later studied at the Music Conservatory in Cincinnati and graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Home Economics.

Tom Hanks Plans First Book 'Uncommon Type'

Tom Hanks has played everything from a lawyer (well, several) to a spaceman and a baseball manager, but in 2017 he’s found a completely new role: author.

Hanks will publish his first book, Uncommon Type: Some Stories, with Alfred A. Knopf on Oct. 24, publisher Sonny Mehta announced Tuesday.

The 17 stories in the book all revolve around typewriters — Hanks is a noted collector — and range from stories about an immigrant just arriving in New York City after leaving his civil war-torn country to a man who bowls a perfect game to an eccentric billionaire.
