We have an airdate for the musical episodes of The CW’s “The Flash” and “Supergirl”: The tuneful crossover will begin at the end of the Mar. 20 episode of “Supergirl,” but the main vocal action will take place in the Mar. 21 episode of “The Flash.”

That episode, entitled “Duet,” will be directed by Dermott Downs and will feature singing performances from Grant Gustin, Melissa Benoist, Jesse L. Martin, Victor Garber, Carlos Valdes, Jeremy Jordan, and John Barrowman. David Harewood and Chris Wood will have non-singing guest appearances in the episode.

News of the musical episode broke last August. There’s no word yet if, as executive producer Greg Berlanti had previously indicated, the episodes will both feature one original song.

Leads Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist both belted out various tunes on “Glee,” and the casts are also stacked with Broadway vets: Garber was part of the original casts of “Sweeney Todd” and “Assassins” and has »

‘House of Cards’ Season 5 Gets Premiere Date, Teaser

23 hours ago | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

While the eyes of the country are on Washington, D.C., for the presidential inauguration, “House of Cards” announced the date for yet another transition of power: the premiere of Season 5.

With a post on Twitter, the Netflix drama revealed that the DC-set drama will return May 30. The date was revealed at the end of a somber recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance — and the ominous message “We make the terror.” Netflix has also released the same teaser on YouTube, which you can watch above.

The line is a recall of the quote from the season finale, when president Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) said, “We don’t submit to terror. We make the terror.”  His wife, Claire (Robin Wright), subsequently broke the fourth wall for the first time. The two have been each other’s strongest allies, but »

19 January 2017 7:45 PM, PST | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

The Johnson family may soon be taking up more airtime on ABC.

The network is considering a spin-off of its hit comedy “Black-ish,” Variety has confirmed. The spin-off, which would star Yara Shahidi, would focus on her character, oldest daughter Zoey Johnson, in college. The spinoff, which is in very early stages, would be introduced as a backdoor pilot this spring. Sources stress that this is early development and nothing has been officially ordered yet.

The series is being developed by “Black-ish” creator Kenya Barris. For Barris, the development marks yet another project on the mega-producer’s resume. The “Black-ish” creator is looking toward a fruitful 2017-2018 television season, as he has two more hot projects in the works at ABC. Aside from this spinoff, he’s already nabbed an early pilot order for a new comedy, “Libby & Malcolm,” starring Felicity Huffman and Courtney B. Vance, plus has an action dramedy starring Toni Collete in contention at »

The Bates Motel concludes its run as season 5 is slated to start on February 20th on A&E.    The show has had a remarkable run and improbable rise.  The character of Norman Bates is no easy act to follow and Freddie Highmore has been brilliant as a young Norman.  Vera Farmiga has been equally creepy has Bates’ mother Norman.  But things appear to get even creepier in season 5.  In a comic con interview Farmiga spoke to the evolution and key differences in Norma’s character.  In an interview from IGN Farmiga revealed that she tried to keep herself out of

Updated with video: President Donald Trump’s post-truth world has to change the way the press does its job, Joy Reid told The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah. “Journalists are accustomed to, when the president says something…you just report it. There is little doubt that the trend of tiny homes has truly caught on with the American people.  The days of McMansions and other humongous spaces are slowly being replaced by more economical and space saving dwellings.  This is why it’s no surprise that Fyi’s Tiny House Nation is building up a big following among viewers.   And tonight’s episode is sure to boost the show’s credibility and validation for the Tiny House movement. Former NFL star and hall of famer Deion Sanders and his wife Tracey Edmonds (host of Extra) decided to go small, really small in order to get

The Episode | “Fair Game” (Jan. 15, 2017)

The Performance | For the past four seasons, Homeland’s Peter Quinn has been seemingly indestructible, repeatedly cheating death as a daredevil CIA operative. But in Sunday’s Season 6 premiere, actor Rupert Friend heartbreakingly showed us the massive toll that all those brushes with death have taken on Quinn’s body — and soul.

After a chemical-weapon attack put him in a coma last season, Quinn emerged alive, but a shell of his former self. And Friend looked the part in the premiere, almost unrecognizable with scraggly facial hair and darting, »

Filming hasn’t even begun on Avengers: Infinity War but as you might imagine about any Marvel release, fans are already speculating about plot lines, characters, and anything else you can imagine about the upcoming film.  The latest rumors and speculation revolve around Peter Dinklage and his role in the movie.  A glimpse at the Game of Thrones star’s new hairstyle and color have given fans a reason to believe he’ll be playing Pip. We all know how amazing Idina Menzel’s voice is and

Small Wonder: The TV Show I’m Kind of Missing Today

Sometimes when you’re sitting around watching television there are shows that you kind of long to watch.   It’s the reason we tune in to TV Land or Nick at Night to watch some our favorite shows from the past.   I personally record shows like Growing Pains, Who’s the Boss, and The Wonder Years when they make their annual runs.  Perhaps it’s a reminder of my youth, or perhaps it’s just for nostalgia.  Speaking of which the network “Antenna” airs Small Wonder on the weekends.  I had no idea of this and I think I owe it to myself to watch

James Cameron Talking to Tim Miller about a Terminator Reboot

This cannot be true can it?  Is James Cameron really talking about a Terminator reboot with Tim Miller (Deadpool)?  Considering the horrible reception that Terminator Genisys received you would think that the franchise would be left alone.  However, you have to believe that if anyone could bring The Terminator back to life it would be James Cameron, the original director of the 1984 sci-fi classic. According to Deadline,  none other than James Cameron himself will be bringing the character back from the dead.  The Avatar director will regain certain rights to The Terminator in 2019, and the outlet reports that
